When I first bought the domain name neilarmstrong.de in 1996, I should have bought neilarmstrong.com as well - it's now being offered for sale at $100,000.
Of course, not all domain names are that expensive - but as easy to remember real words and names become increasingly unavailable, it really is worthwhile getting the name you want, now.
